The automated air conditioning system (climate control)

General information

The automated air conditioning system which is included in a basic equipment of some models functions only at the working engine. At the choice of economy mode (ACoff), the cooling system does not work.

Transition to the chosen temperature condition is always made with the maximum possible speed.

Insignificant fluctuations of temperature around the established point are explained by impact of sunlight and temperature drops of external air.

The connected filter which is built in an entrance air path of system provides protection of salon against penetration in it of dust and pollen of plants.

General comments on functioning of the K/V system

Functioning of the K/V system can lead to formation of condensate under the car bottom, - education under the parked car of a small pool in hot weather should not cause concerns.

In a hot sunny weather before a start of motion it is necessary to air the interior of the car heated by the sun.

You watch that air vents in space between the back shelf and back glass of the car remained open.

In the winter before a start of motion clean from snow an air inlet lattice before a car windshield.

In case of leak of coolant functioning To/in automatically stops and the system switches in economy mode.

Governing bodies

Air supply in interior of the car carries out on network of the air ducts of system of ventilation terminating in the nozzles equipped with deflectors.

Deflectors snuffled (1 and 2) air ducts of air supply in a back part of salon

In a forward part of salon air moves in four main directions: on the front level of the driver and forward passenger (central and side deflectors of the dashboard), on having blown in a windshield (forward deflectors of the dashboard), on having blown in side glasses (side deflectors) and in foot wells (the lower air ducts).

Output nozzles of forward air ducts settle down on the dashboard and in foot wells of salon.

Design of zhalyuziyny deflectors of days off snuffled air ducts of front level allows to operate intensity (the full overshoot of a nozzle is made by turning of the regulator against the stop up) and the direction of the leaving streams (a rotary element assembly of a nozzle is).

Forward assembly of management of functioning To/in is located in the top part of console section of the dashboard.
Zhalyuziyny deflectors snuffled a path of air supply in a back part of salon have a rotary design, adjustments of a pressure of air and distribution of a stream in the vertical direction are carried out from the switch of management located directly under assembly of deflectors.

Mode of automatic functioning

The mode of automatic functioning of system is basic. For activation of the mode press the AUTO button of the central switch of the control panel, - the light-emitting diode which is built in the button has to light up. The choice of the required temperature condition is carried out by rotation of the rotary regulator of the central switch (the shining segment which is built in a regulator ring serves for indication of the chosen value).

When turning the regulator in extreme situation, the adjustments of temperature marked with blue and red points on assembly of the switch function is disconnected.

Having appointed comfortable temperature condition, press the AUTO button and hold it pressed within not less than 3 seconds, - the system will pass into the mode of automatic maintenance of the chosen installation.

Activation of an electrical heating of back glass can be made in case of need manually.

The design of a control system provides a possibility of programming of basic temperature condition. Transfer the rotary regulator of the central switch to the discretion chosen on yours situation (for example, 21 °C), then press the AUTO button and hold it pressed within about 10 seconds.

Correction of the set temperature condition should be made small steps.

Manual adjustment of intensity and directions of distribution of air

Intensity and the direction of distribution of air can be exposed manually by means of rotary regulators of side switches (the control light-emitting diode of the AUTO mode will go out), - the chosen temperature condition does not change.

Intensity of air supply can change within 5 steps of the high-speed modes of functioning of the fan.

At installation of intensity of air supply on zero, shutdown of system is made! The choice of this installation has to be made only for a short time.

The choice of the direction of distribution of air provides the following possible options:

Air supply on having blown in a windshield
Air supply on having blown in glasses, on front level and in foot wells
Air supply in foot wells and on front level through side nozzles of the dashboard
Air supply on front level

Return to the automatic mode can be made by pressing the AUTO button (the shining segments which are built in rings of regulators have to go out), - make sure of serviceability of activation of a control light-emitting diode of the automatic mode.

The mode of removal of condensate from glasses

For bystry removal of condensate from glasses press the button, - the control light-emitting diode which is built in in the button has to light up. At the same time the system automatically provides maximum having warmed and on having blown in productivity of the fan, air supply wind and side glasses (through side nozzles of the dashboard, - do not forget to open completely their nozzles through passage and to deploy in a required way rotary deflectors) and shutdown of air supply in a back part of salon.

Adjustment of all other installations, except for function of an electrical heating of back glass, for the period of activation of the mode is blocked.

For shutdown of the mode rather repeatedly to press the same button, or the AUTO button.

For removal of condensate from an external surface of a windshield it is necessary to choose the air supply mode on having blown in glasses () and to activate screen wipers.

The mode of the closed air circulation

Activation of the mode of the closed air circulation is made by means of the lower button of the left switch of the K/V forward control panel, - the control light-emitting diode which is built in the button has to light up. In this mode shutdown of giving in salon of fresh air is made. This function allows to prevent hit in interior of the car of the gas-polluted or unpleasantly smelling air.

Long use of the closed circulation, leads to fogging of glasses and increase in a spertost of air therefore it is recommended to include this mode only in case of need and for rather short time, for example, at the movement on the area with the smoke-filled or polluted atmosphere. As soon as need of isolation of salon disappears, supply of fresh air has to be resumed.

Repeated pressing the button of the switch allows to restore air supply.

Also automatic shutdown of the mode of the closed circulation on a timer signal is provided: approximately in 30 minutes at included To/in, or in 5 minutes at switched off К/В.

At high temperatures of external air activation of the mode of the closed circulation is made automatically and is not followed by inclusion of a control light-emitting diode of the button of the switch.

Economy mode

At the choice of economy mode shutdown of the К/В compressor is made.

For activation of economy mode press the ACoff button of the central switch, - the control light-emitting diode which is built in in the button has to light up.

In economy mode such functions of system as cooling and drainage of air are turned off.

Shutdown of the mode is made by repeated pressing of the same button.

Mode of use of residual heat of the engine

Heating of salon can be made during even some time after an engine stop due to use of the power unit of residual heat accumulated by weight. Activation of the mode is made by means of the ACoff/REST button of the central switch of the forward control panel, - the control light-emitting diode which is built in the button has to light up.

Before inclusion of the mode of use of residual heat of the engine (REST) turn a key in the ignition lock in situation 1.

At the activated mode adjustment of intensity and the directions of air supply is made automatically.

Necessary condition of use of the REST mode is the sufficient level of a charge of the rechargeable battery.

Switching off of the mode is made automatically on a timer signal approximately in 30 minutes, when turning a key in the ignition lock in situation 2, and also at noticeable decrease in level of a charge of the rechargeable battery.

Shutdowns of air supply in a back part of salon

Shutdown of air supply in a back part of salon can be made by means of the lower button of the right switch of the forward control panel, - the control light-emitting diode which is built in in the button has to light up, and management from the back panel is blocked.

For air supply restoration it is necessary to press the same button repeatedly back, - the control light-emitting diode has to go out, and the back control panel will switch in the mode of automatic functioning (sections through passage snuffled open).

Heating of back glass

Heating of back glass functions only in situation 2 keys in the ignition lock. Activation of a heating element of back glass is made by means of the top button of the right switch of the K/V forward control panel, - the control light-emitting diode which is built in the button has to light up.

In winter season before inclusion of heating remove with frost and snow flew down.

The heating element of heating of back glass consumes a lot of electric power therefore it is not necessary to activate it for a long time.

Automatic shutdown of heating is made on a timer signal approximately in 6-17 minutes, depending on temperature of external air and speed of the movement of the car.

Shutdown of heating of back glass can happen also at simultaneous activation of a large number of consumers of the electric power, and also at noticeable decrease in level of a charge of the rechargeable battery, - the control light-emitting diode which is built in the button will begin to blink. With restoration of level of tension the heating element is activated automatically.

The back switch of management of functioning of the automated K/V system

The back switch which is built in the central part of the control panel located on a back face wall of the central console directly under deflectors of a back air duct. On both sides from the K/V switch individual switches of regulators of window regulators of back doors are located.

Mode of automatic functioning

Activation of the automatic mode is made by means of the AUTO button of the back switch equipped with the built-in control light-emitting diode.

At the included automatic mode the air conditioning system provides automatic maintenance of temperature condition in a back part of salon according to the installation chosen by means of the regulator on the К/В forward control panel.

Manual adjustment of intensity and directions of distribution of air

Intensity and the direction of distribution of air can be exposed manually by means of side keyboard regulators of the back switch (the control light-emitting diode of the AUTO mode will go out). The temperature condition chosen from the forward panel remains invariable.

The high-speed mode of functioning of the fan is regulated by the left keyboard regulator, the direction of distribution in the vertical plane – right.

Return to the automatic mode can be made by pressing the AUTO button, - make sure of serviceability of activation of a control light-emitting diode of the automatic mode.
