Removal
|
- Remove the driveshaft (see the Section Removal and installation of the back driveshaft) and transfer it to a workbench, - try not to damage a forward flange (1).
- Having laid a shaft rectilinearly, mark relative adjusting provisions of a cardan joint (2) back sections of a shaft (3), the connecting lever (4) and forward section of a shaft (5).
- Turn out four bolts (6) and remove two collars (7) of a forward cardan joint.
- Separate back section of a shaft (3) from the connecting lever (4), - try not to drop hinged cups (8).
- Release a coupling nut (9) and remove an adjusting washer.
- Mark position of the connecting lever (4) of rather internal wedge-shaped shlitsevy joint.
- Remove the lever (4) and assembly of the intermediate bearing (11) from assembly of a shaft, - in the latter case use a two-gripping stripper, try not to damage a forward flange (1).

Installation
|
- Put the intermediate bearing (11) on forward section of a shaft (5) fixing openings forward.
- Having tracked correctness of combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle (see paragraph 6 above), put the connecting lever (4) on forward section of a shaft (5).
- Establish an adjusting washer and screw a nut (9).
- Having previously carefully smoothed out the interfaced surfaces, fill a cardan joint (2) in the connecting lever (4), track correctness of input of components in gearing, then achieve the correct combination put in the course of dismantle (see paragraph 2 above) adjusting tags.
- Establish assembly of a shaft on the regular place (see the Section Removal and installation of the back driveshaft).
