- Details of installation of the two-section back driveshaft are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Turn out самоконтрящиеся bolts (1b) of fastening of forward section (1) of the back driveshaft to an output flange of the transfer case, remove adjusting washers (1s).
- Turn out самоконтрящиеся bolts (2a) of fastening of back section (2) of the driveshaft to the leading flange of back differential.
- Turn out screws (7d) of fastening of the intermediate bearing of assembly of the driveshaft to a frame beam.
- Accurately omit assembly of a shaft, give it back and take from under the car.
- Estimate degree of wear of the hinge of equal angular speeds (HEAS) on the forward end of a shaft, cardan hinges and the intermediate bearing, in case of need replace a shaft assembled.
- In case of need remove the intermediate bearing (see the Section Removal and installation of the intermediate bearing of a back bent shaft).
- Installation is made upside-down, - carefully smooth out the surfaces of interface, try not to allow deformations of bearing assembly.
