Removal and installation
Details of installation of the lower cross lever of a forward suspension bracket
|
- Details of installation of the lower cross lever of a forward suspension bracket are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Remove the torsion springs of a forward suspension bracket (see the Section Removal and installation of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and the sensor of the course of a diaphragm of BAS).
- Remove a rotary fist (see the Head the Transmission line).
- On the models equipped with xenon headlights remove connecting draft of the regulator of level of landing of a front (95b).
- Disconnect from the lower cross lever (4) the torsion bar (28) (see the Section Removal and installation of the main brake cylinder).
- Having given fixture, disconnect the lower lever (4) from a stretcher.
- Release a coupling joint in the back end of the lever and lower the holder of the bearing (4d) down.
- Attentively study the lever on existence of signs of mechanical damages, in case of need prepare replacement.
- Installation is made upside-down, - final tightening of elements of fastening of the lever is made after lowering of the car on the earth.
- In conclusion make adjustment of geometry of a suspension bracket.

- Illustrative material on replacement of the forward axial plug of the lower cross lever is presented on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Remove the lower lever (4) (see above).
- By means of the basic plug (012r) and drifts (012n) squeeze out the rubber plug (4k) of the axial holder of the lever.
- Landing of the new plug is made in a similar manner with application in in addition to the devices used at removal (012n and 012r) mandrels (012r).
- Install into place the lever (see above).
