Details of installation of a brake disk (on the example of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel)


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Replacement of brake disks has to be made in pairs for each axis!

  1. Details of installation of a brake disk (on the example of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel) are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Remove wheels.
  3. Check the residual thickness of frictional overlays of blocks and visually estimate the general condition of disks of brake mechanisms.
  4. Remove a brake support (see the Section Removal and installation of a support), - need for a detachment of flexible brake hoses is absent.
  5. At removal of a back disk (61) release the parking brake and weaken the regulator of automatic correction of a tension of a driving cable.
  6. Turn out a lock bolt (64) and remove a brake disk, - the bolt is subject to replacement without fail.
  7. Installation is made upside-down, - before installation slightly grease a landing surface of a disk with jellied molibdensoderzhashchy lubricant.
  8. After replacement of disks of back brake mechanisms do not forget to adjust the drive of the parking brake (see the Section Adjustment of the Drive of the Parking Brake) and dump load of the automatic regulator.
  9. For shrinkage of blocks several times squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake, - the firm resistance to squeezing has to appear.
  10. Check the level of brake fluid in the GTTs tank, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment.
