Details of installation of a cowl

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Details of installation of a cowl are shown on сопр. an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong. Open a cowl and record it in vertical position. Mark the provision of loops on a cowl. Remove a gas-filled emphasis (2) fixings of a cowl (see the Section Removal and installation of a gas-filled emphasis of fixing of a cowl in open situation), - take care of fixing of a cowl in vertical position (in case of need use the help of the assistant). Turn out fixing screws (1) and together with the assistant remove a cowl. Installation is made upside-down, fixing screws after installation should be painted. In conclusion make adjustment of a cowl (see below).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

The corresponding illustrative material is presented on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong. Open a cowl (2) and weaken loopy (3) screws (1). Level a cowl concerning edges of an aperture of a motive compartment and again tighten fixing screws (1). Disconnect from a cowl (2) a gas-filled emphasis (see the Section Removal and installation of a gas-filled emphasis of fixing of a cowl in open situation) and lower it in a motive compartment. Uncover an air inlet (see the Section Removal of the Drive of Forward Screen Wipers). Remove rubber overlays of loops of a cowl, - slips are subject to replacement without fail. Cut off a sealant around a loop so that to provide freedom of the course of the last, - a sealant are subject to replacement without fail, at installation the sealant should be painted. Release loopy (3) nuts (8). Adjust a cowl so that it was closed aflush with the surfaces of wings, - for the purpose of increase in the course of adjustment weaken fastening of the top section of the lock of a cowl (5). Tighten fixing nuts (8) and connect to a cowl a gas-filled emphasis (see the Section Removal and installation of a gas-filled emphasis of fixing of a cowl in open situation). Release lock-nuts (7) adjust height of landing of persistent buffers (6) so that the first line of the closed cowl, nestling on them did not act over the surface of wings. Having achieved the required result, tighten lock-nuts (7). Release screws (4) fastenings of the top section of the lock of a cowl (5) adjust a locking gap. Level the top section (5) of rather lower and tighten fixing screws (4). Make sure of reliability of fixing of a cowl in a closed position. Release a latch and make sure of reliability of fixing of a safety hook on a cross beam of a frame. Close a cowl.
