- Remove a forward cover of a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of covers of the GRM drive).
- Having turned a bent shaft in the normal direction, bring the piston of the first cylinder into situation 30 ° after VMT, - in this position of the engine camshafts can be turned without risk of collision of valves with pistons.
- Make sure of correctness of basic installation of shaft (see the Section Installation of Basic Position of Camshafts), then mark with a marker the provision of a gas-distributing chain (73) concerning asterisks (75 and 76) camshafts.
- Remove a natyazhitel of a chain (14) (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
- Remove an asterisk (76) of the final camshaft.
- Lift a chain (73) and remove an asterisk (75) of the inlet camshaft.
- By means of a rozhkovy key (1) deploy camshafts (77 and 78) so that as much as possible to weaken the effort developed by valvate springs, - cams have to be developed by heels to pushers.
- Mark covers of bearings of camshafts, then turn out fixing bolts and uncover.
- Carefully take camshafts from a head of cylinders.
- Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of an arrangement of bearing covers.

- Uncover heads of cylinders.

- Remove the bridge of covers of bearings of the camshaft (see above).
- Evenly warm casting of the bridge up to the temperature about 150 °C, - no more than 160 °C!
- Lay the bridge on a board (4) and take from it a hollow axis of yokes (1), it is accurate выстучав it from the opposite side through a drift (1) with a diameter of 15 mm.
- Check a condition of an axis and yokes, replace faulty components.

Installation
|

- Evenly warm the bridge up to the temperature of 150 °C, cool an axis of yokes and accurately begin to knock it to the bridge, having used the directing shaft with a diameter of 16 (final assembly) or 18 (inlet assembly) millimeters, - at an axis zastukivaniye at the same time take the directing shaft, track that yokes did not warp.
- Level an axis of yokes, having passed pair of fixing screws throughout openings to the bridge of covers.
- Establish the bridge of covers (see above).

- Take the camshaft.
