Details of installation of a forward cover of a head of cylinders (series 111 engines)

- Details of installation of a forward cover of a head of cylinders of the engine of a series 111 are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Remove a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of a head(s) of cylinders).
- Remove a casing of the thermostat (3) (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating and the air conditioner).
- Otboltite valve switch of admixture of secondary air (Y32).
- Turn out fixing bolts (1 and 2) and remove a forward cover of a head of cylinders.
- Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces. Installation is made upside-down, - the cover is put on sealant. Track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort.

- Details of installation of a cover of the GRM drive on the engine of a series 111 are shown on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Remove assembly of the left sleeve of a path of pressurization of air with the MAF sensor (see the Section Removal and installation of the engine).
- Take a cartridge of an oil filter (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases) and merge oil in the prepared capacity.
- Remove assembly of the fan of the cooling system with the viscous coupling (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating and the air conditioner).
- Remove a cooling system fan casing (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating and the air conditioner).
- Remove the case pallet (see the Section Service of the Lubrication System).
- Take off a belt of the drive of the supercharger.
- Take off a belt of the drive of auxiliary units.
- Empty the cooling system (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating and the air conditioner).
- Remove a basic arm the generator/generator assembled with a basic arm (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
- Remove assembly of a natyazhitel of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units (see the Head Dvigatel).
- Remove a forward cover of a head of cylinders (see above).
- Remove the water pump (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating and the air conditioner).
- Remove a driving pulley of the steering pump (44), - keeping of a pulley from a provorachivaniye can be made by the staving which is temporarily established to the place of a driving belt.
- Otboltite arm (47).
- On models without To/in remove an arm (46b). On models with To/in remove arms (46) and (46a).
- Remove the steering pump (45) and take it aside, without disconnecting hydraulic lines.
- Having turned a bent shaft in the normal direction, bring the piston of the first cylinder into situation 20-30 ° after VMT (see arrows on an illustration 5.7b).
- By means of blocking cores (01) fix camshafts.
- Mark with a marker the provision of a gas-distributing chain concerning asterisks of camshafts (75 and 76).
- Remove a natyazhitel of a chain (14).
- Remove asterisks final (76) and inlet (75) camshafts.

Bolts of fastening of asterisks is subject to replacement without fail. |
- Take an inlet shaft assembled with the regulator.
- Take pins of guides of a chain (11).
|
|
At installation pins are put on sealant. |
- Turn out bolts (A) of fastening of a cover of the GRM drive to a head of cylinders.
|
|
Bolts are equipped with heads like TORX. |
- Remove assembly of a pulley of a driving belt with the built-in vibroquencher (95).
- Mark with a marker bolts of fastening of a cover of the GRM drive.
- Turn out fixing bolts and uncover (65), - try not to damage sealing laying of a head.
- Replace a forward epiploon of a bent shaft (see the Section Replacement of a Forward Epiploon of a Bent Shaft).
- Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a cover and a case of the engine.
- Replace sealing rings (66).
- Grease the interfaced cover surface with sealant, having tracked that the last did not get to the oil tank (65a) of a gas-distributing chain.
- Installation is made upside-down, - at installation of a cover delay a chain up, having completely chosen its weak point in the lower part. Track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort.

- Details of installation of a cover of the GRM drive on engines of series 112 and 113 are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Remove panels of finishing of the power unit.
- Merge cooling liquid from a radiator.
- Uncover with heads cylinders of the power unit / assembly of the air cleaner.
- Remove assembly of the fan of the cooling system with the viscous coupling (1).
- Turn out the lower bolts and remove a casing fan/assembly of the electric fan.
- Install the screen of protection of the К/В radiator/condenser.
- Take off a belt of the drive of auxiliary units (2).
- Uncover heads of cylinders (6).
- Disconnect lines (17 and 18) of the water pump.
- Disconnect a hose (16) from a thermostat casing.
- Remove and, without disconnecting refrigerator lines, take aside the K/B (A9) compressor.
- Remove the lower section of the pallet of a case (see the Section Service of the Lubrication System).
- Remove the top section of the pallet of a case (see the Section Service of the Lubrication System).
- Remove assembly of a natyazhitel of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units.
- Remove a damper of tortional fluctuations (4)
- Remove a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing chain (14).
- Remove the case of an oil filter (7) equipped with the built-in liquid heat exchanger.
- Remove and, without disconnecting hydraulic lines, shift assembly of the steering pump (11) aside.
- Shoot the directing video (15) of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units from a GRM drive cover.
- Remove the air pump (20).
- Separate an electrical wiring from the thermostat.
- Turn out bolts (21) of fastening of a cover of the GRM drive to heads of cylinders.
- Turn out screws of fastening of a cover of the GRM drive.

At installation a carving part of screws should be greased with sealant. |
- Uncover the GRM drive.
- Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a cover and a case of the engine.
- Installation is made upside-down, - it is necessary to impose a pillow of sealant about 2.0 mm wide on the interfaced surface of a cover and about 0.5 mm thick (track that sealant did not get to maslotok). Do not forget to replace sealing rings of a cover (19) and a forward epiploon of a bent shaft. Track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort.
- In conclusion clear memory of system of onboard self-diagnostics, previously считав the DTC codes which are written down in it (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
