 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Illustrative material on removal and installation of a head of cylinders of the engine of a series 612 is presented on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Open a cowl and record it in vertical position.
  3. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  4. Remove the lower section of a noise isolation.
  5. Empty the cooling system (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  6. Remove panels of finishing of a cover of a head of cylinders (1 and 2).
  7. Remove the air cleaner (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  8. Disconnect hoses of a cooling path from the thermostat.
  9. Disconnect an inlet sleeve (4/2) from a turbocompressor (110).
  10. Disconnect a vacuum hose (3) of the vacuum block (110/10) of a turbocompressor (110).
  11. Remove a broad tank of the cooling system (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating and the air conditioner) and, without disconnecting hoses, shift it aside.
  12. Remove nozzles (Y76).
  13. Uncover a head of cylinders (6).
  14. Turning a bent shaft in the normal direction, bring the engine into the provision of VMT of the piston of the first cylinder, - tags on bodies of camshafts and covers of bearings have to be combined (shooters).
  15. By means of special adaptation block a gear wreath of a flywheel.
  16. Remove a natyazhitel of a chain (4) (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
  17. Remove a forward cover (7) of a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of covers of the GRM drive).
  18. Remove the top guide of a chain (8) (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
  19. Remove camshafts (9 and 10) (see the Section Removal and installation of the GRM components).
  20. Remove a bed of camshafts (11).
  21. Remove an intermediate asterisk (24).
  22. Disconnect the pressure head line (19/1) from TNVD (19).
  23. Remove the returnable line laid between TNVD and the fuel highway.
  24. Remove TNVD (19).
  25. Disunite contact sockets of an electrical wiring on a head of cylinders.
  26. Remove the main fuel filter (70).
  27. Remove an airdistributing sleeve (110/1).
  28. Otboltite from a head of cylinders arms of the directing tubes (22 and 23).
  29. Disconnect primary catalytic converter (120/1) from a turbocompressor (110).
  30. Disconnect from a turbocompressor (11) an air sleeve (110/6) and a maslovozvratny tube (110/4).
  31. Turn out bolts (14) of fastening of a head of cylinders to a GRM drive cover.
  32. In stages release bolts (15) of fastening of a head.
  33. Turn out bolts (15) and check their state.
  34. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders and carving openings in the block.
  35. Installation is made upside-down, - new sealing laying (18) keeps within on the surface of the block interfaced to a head. Track correctness of installation of the directing plugs (20).
  36. In conclusion start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks. Also make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  2. Remove an EGR system cooler.
  3. Uncover a head of cylinders.
  4. Remove a natyazhitel of a chain (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).

Right head

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove an inlet sleeve of a path of pressurization of air.
  2. Remove the lower sleeve of a path of pressurization of air.
  3. Remove an intermediate asterisk of TNVD (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the GRM drive).
  4. Remove a bed of camshafts (see the Section Removal and installation of the GRM components).
  5. Release fixture and take away the right three-functional catalytic converter (TWC) back.
  6. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the right turbocompressor (1).
  7. Disconnect a maslovozvratny tube (2) from the right turbocompressor, - sealing elements of a tube are subject to replacement without fail.
  8. Remove a basic arm (3) of the right turbocompressor.

Left head

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Perform procedures of the previous order of performance adjusted for a binding of components to the head.
  2. Remove a casing of an oil filter.
  3. Mark the provision of a gas-distributing chain on an asterisk of the drive of camshafts.
  4. Remove a driving asterisk from a pin of the final camshaft.
  5. By means of a suitable extractor take pins of guides of a chain (4).
  6. Tie up guides (5) one to another.

Both heads

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect an electrical wiring from incandescence candles.
  2. Turn out bolts (6) of fastening of a head.
  3. In several stages weaken, then turn out bolts (7) of fastening of a head.
  4. Check a condition of bolts (7), in case of need make their replacement.
  5. Connect lifting chains (8) and by means of the winch remove a head from the block of cylinders.
  6. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders and carving openings in the block.
  7. Installation is made upside-down, - new sealing laying (18) keeps within on the surface of the block interfaced to a head. Track correctness of installation of the directing plugs (20).
  8. In conclusion start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks. Also make cleaning of memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
